Tout Ira Mieux Sans Nous echoes the structure and mood of 2020’s Ultime Pulsation / Demain Brûle. Split into two long tracks that feel like one continuous piece, the record pushes Void Paradigm’s sound even further, blurring genre lines and refusing easy labels.
The album mixes black and doom metal with jazz, prog and experimental composition techniques, all held together by Julien Payan’s (ATARAXIE, SORDIDE) sharp songwriting. He’s joined by powerhouse jazz-metal drummer Alexis Damien (NO TERROR IN THE BANG) and vocalist Jo Théry (ATARAXIE, FUNERALIUM), both contributing to the arrangements.
Mütterlein also appears as a special guest with a striking vocal performance.
The cover art features sculptures by French artist Clarisse Griffon du Bellay.
